Facebook? Me? For Real.....

I remember watching this ridiculous show as a kid!


Believe it or not, I actually did it. My sister brought it up to me a week and a half ago when I had taken the two little ones down for a visit. She said it was really kind of cool how you could connect with people from your high school. So I thought, what the heck. I mean, if I'm willing to blog, how bad can Facebook be? Well, since I just joined within this last hour, I really don't know but bet I'll find out sooner than later.

My teenagers have been on MySpace for years, until I decided that it was getting out of control. Of course, leave it to teens to find another resource, eh? So, I believe all three of them have Facebook accounts - I'll have to search for the little boogers.

Anyway, I've often wondered what happened to some of the people from my high school. I've actually only kept in semi-contact with one friend, and haven't talked to her in years now. I've never gone to a reunion - course, don't have a clue if there have been any as I have never heard either! lol! I'm not really sure if I would go anyway, even if I did know about one.

So I'm wondering, how many people have gone to a high school reunion and how many years was it? Are they as you would have expected? Any surprises? Do you find yourself able to relate to both the class geek and the jock on a grown-up level? I've always wondered if I would carry on a conversation with the least likely person, and have nothing in common with the person I remember being 'buddies' with.

Well, we'll see. Besides my sister, I only recognized one other name on Facebook as someone I remember being friends with in High School. Good Grief that seems like forever ago!!!!!!
